You know those times where, the straightest distance between those two proverbial points is one looong squiggly line??!! Welcome to last Saturday when I accompanied my photographer friend Chelle to our first dog show in Ventura which started at 9, that we showed up to at 8:59 and 59 seconds. Somehow we flipped the destination on our GPS to take us back home, which we did for 10 min or so till we did that whole “thinking” thing and abruptly turned around. When we finally arrived (did I mention we were really late) neither of us had any cash to pay the parking attendant, no problem there’s ATM’s right?? Yes, but do they work….NO! That would’ve been easy! While at the show we did hear about personality stereotypes of certain dog owners for instance: Boxer people very intense, poodle people kind strange, and working dog people are laidback. Any thoughts?? It’s all new to me; I found all the dogs and people were super fun to watch. Along our brave and perilous journey we met Monsieur “Romeo”, and his wise mommy Heather, who gives the best directions to anywhere, I think. She was like MapQuest but slightly more talkative, go figure??!! Anyway I’ll tell you more about them on my next post he has an awesome story, only the best for Romeo.
